Baltimore Guide welcomes account executive Jessica Chaney on board

“My favorite part of the job is working out an affordable way to get a business more revenue,” says Jessica.

In sales her whole life, the 32 year old Fort Howard resident is one of seven siblings. Family comes first for Jessica.

“There would never be a time where they would call me and need something, and I not be there,” she says.

Having lived her whole life in the Baltimore and Fort Howard areas, Jessica is familiar with many of the local businesses and their challenges. She is known in the office for her outgoing and colorful personality, as well as her ability to bring in new advertising clients.

“Jessica brings a lot of enthusiasm and positive energy to the Guide,” says publisher Ed Hoffman. “She has an excellent telemarketing background that has helped her with new account development. Jessica’s knowledge of the local market is also a great effort in prospecting for new clients.”

Jessica rounds out her work and family life with an ambitious schedule of volunteer work with her boyfriend Derrick.

During the holidays, the two were Santa and Mrs. Claus for local Boy Scouts. The couple volunteers frequently for Fort Howard Park and run errands for a dozen or so elderly Dundalk residents.

Jessica is also loves outdoor activities such as “mudding” and “quadding,” and has shown unconditional love for her old Jeep, which doesn’t always reciprocate.

“Are you still going to have your Jeep by the time this is published?” asks art director Jenn Franz.
