Christian Street, 2000 block, September 1, 11:25 a.m. A man and woman argued, and the man held a knife to the woman’s throat, threatening her life unless she moved out of the house. He was arrested on the scene.

S. Fulton Avenue, 600 block, August 30, 11 p.m. A man told police that he had been attacked by a suspect wielding a knife, and that he had sustained cuts to his hand and left arm. The suspect was arrested.

WANTED-Police detectives in the Southeastern District are seeking Walter Petro, a 42-year-old white male, who is wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on Labor Day on Erdman Avenue. Petro is a white male, 5’10” tall and 210 pounds. According to reports, a 17-year-old girl was thrown from her parents’ car after Petro rammed their vehicle. At the time of the incident, Petro was driving a greed Dodge Ram. Police are seeking information of Petro’s whereabouts, and welcome any leads. In addition, they are cautioning individuals who see Petro or encounter him not to approach or detain him. 900 block S. Paca St., Monday, Aug. 23, 10:30 p.m.: A man was robbed at gunpoint of his cash, car keys and carryout order, then smacked in the head with the suspects’ gun.

200 block Warren Ave., Friday, Aug. 27, 12:30 a.m.: A woman was held up and robbed of her handbag containing identification, credit cards and $40 cash. The suspect struck her and ran away. Police later found and arrested him.

100 block W. Hamburg St., Sunday, Aug. 22, 7:10 p.m.: A man was stabbed in the back with a knife. He was taken to Shock-Trauma for treatment.

2000 block Eagle St., Monday, Aug. 23, 1:50 a.m.: A man was shot in the stomach. He was taken to Shock-Trauma for treatment.

300 block S. Gilmor St., Friday, Aug. 27, 6:28 p.m.: A man arrived at the suspect’s house to collect a debt and the suspect put the victim in a choke hold and threatened him with a knife. The victim left; the suspect followed him and struck him over the head with a blunt object.

Shooting

Mason Court, 200 block, August 28, 5:10 p.m. Officers were called to the 300 block of Mason Court and found a 34-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. He was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital. According to reports, the shooting actually took place in the 200 block. Two suspects, described as black males, at least one of whom was wearing a white T-shirt, began a dispute with the man, then shot him. They were seen on a citywide camera fleeing the area. Luzerne Avenue, 100 block, August 28, 12:30 a.m. A man told police that he and a homeless woman had made arrangements to have sex, and upon removing his pants, he saw the woman reaching into his pants pocket. He asked her what she was doing, and she said, “Nothing.” He then realized that she had removed $1,500 cash and put it into her backpack. He asked for the money back, but the woman said no. He then tried to take the money, but the woman bit him. Both the woman and the man then contacted police, who found the money, and the woman claimed not to know how it had gotten into her backpack. 900 block S. Charles St., Sunday, Aug. 15, 1:45 a.m.: A man was punched in the stomach and robbed of his New Zealand passport, $200 cash and a cell phone.

100 block S. Stricker St., Sunday, Aug. 15, 3:30 p.m.: A man wheeling his bike was pushed and robbed of the bike and $20 cash.

1100 block Washington Blvd., Sunday, Aug. 15, 2:35 p.m.: A woman was punched and robbed of her cell phone, cash and disability ID card.

1500 block Washington Blvd., Monday, Aug. 16, 11:20 p.m.: A man was arrested for wrestling another man to the ground and stealing a blue bookbag containing religious books, a cell phone and other property.

300 block Warren Ave., Monday, Aug. 16, 12:45 a.m.: A couple walking to their car were robbed at gunpoint of a wallet and cell phone.

2000 block W. Pratt St., Sunday, Aug. 22, 1:55 a.m.: A woman was in her apartment when she saw a man climb the fire escape and enter her apartment. He scratched her neck and pushed her around the apartment, but she managed to escape and call the police. When police arrived, her cell phone and keys were gone.

Robbery

S. Washington Street, 600 block, August 21, 2:30 a.m. A woman told police that a suspect, described as a bald black male with a heavy build, had robbed her of her clutch purse, then fled.

S. Clinton Street, 300 block, August 21, 9:50 p.m. Police responded to the report of an attack and found two men who told them they had been attacked by a group of suspects, four men and two women, who took a cell phone and cash. Three suspects were arrested a short time later.

Gough Street, 1500 block, August 18, 11 p.m. A man told police that he was out walking when a group of suspects attacked him from behind and went through his pockets, robbing him of $75 cash.

Seaforth Street, 6300 block, August 17, 3:50 p.m. A technician told police that he had finished replacing a window seal on a truck when he was attacked by two suspects who took his keys and jumped into his Chevy van that contained his work tools. One of the suspects was described as wearing a black sleeveless undershirt and having a chinstrap beard, and the second was described as being in his 40s but having “an old face” with a mustache, carrying a white towel and a blue lunchbox.

300 block S. Norris St., Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2:30 a.m.: Two men approached two women and pushed them to the ground, yelling “Where’s the money, B____!, reached into one woman’s bra and stole a black wallet containing $1,400 cash and an Independence card.

1400 block W. Ostend St., Friday, Aug. 13, 3:55 p.m.: A man was beaten and robbed of his cell phone, wallet, credit cards and cash.

S. Broadway, 300 block, August 13, 3:30 p.m. An employee of a business told police that a fellow employee had failed to deposit the funds accumulated through two weeks of transactions. WANTED-Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of armed robbery suspect Michael (“Mike”) Pederson, a white male, 33 years old, 5’11” tall and 170 pounds. He has a tattoo on his neck that says “Lindy” and is armed with a silver handgun, often in the company of a white male suspect. If you see Pederson or know of his whereabouts (or those of any other suspect who may be traveling with him), do not approach or detain him, but instead call Det. Crites at 410-396-2422. If Det. Crites is not available, ask to speak to anyone in the Southeastern District Detective Unit.

INFORMATION WANTED-Dwayne Goodwin (pictured), a black male weariug his hair in braids, has been arrested for armed robbery. Police, however, believe he has been involved in a string of robberies, and would like any victims to let them know if his picture looks familiar to them.  If you would like to provide any information to help with the investigation, call Det. Murphy at 410-396-2422. If Det. Murphy is not available, ask to speak to anyone in the Southeastern District Detective Unit.

E. Lombard Street, 3400 block, August 6, 6 p.m. A woman told police that her ex-husband forced his way into his ex-wife’s home, but fled upon realizing he was being observed.

Stiles Street, 900 block, August 5, 6 p.m. Someone broke into a shed near a bocce court and took a handicap ramp, four bocce balls and files with information on players on them.

Hornel Street, 300 block, August 4, 6:15 a.m. Someone broke into a home and stole prescription medications including prenatal vitamins.

HOMICIDE

1800 block McHenry St., Monday, August 2, 1:45 p.m. Police found Theodore Corwin, age 30, inside his house, suffering from head injuries apparently caused by a blunt object. He was transported to Shock-Trauma but died on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 3:45 p.m. Police arrested Walter Kelly, Jr., 59, who witnesses said had chased Corwin into the house and attacked him there. Kelly was originally charged with attempted first degree murder, first and second degree assault and assault with a deadly weapon. When Corwin died Kelly was charged with murder.

ROBBERY

1600 block W. Lombard St., Sunday, Aug. 1, 2:30 a.m.: A man punched a woman in the face and knocked her to the ground, then stole her purse containing identification, credit cards and cash.

1000 block Sterrett St., Friday, Aug. 6, 7:55 p.m.: A man and his son were lured to the block by a Craigslist ad for a motorcycle for sale. The victim was talking to a man named “Tony” about the ad when another man arrived with a handgun and announced a stickup. The suspects escaped with the father’s wallet, $350 cash and a concealed-carry permit from Ohio.

1200 block W. Pratt St., Monday, July 26, 10:42 a.m.: A man threatened a bank teller with a yellow device and passed her a note demanding cash. He escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

1100 block Bayard St., Tuesday, July 27, 4 a.m.: A man was arrested for holding up another man and stealing $15.

100 block S. Gilmor St., Thursday, July 29, 10:15 a.m.: A woman was thrown to the ground and robbed of her purse.

1500 block Washington Blvd., Friday, July 30, 8:20 p.m.: A woman was punched, kicked and knocked to the ground and robbed of her Boost cell phone.

500 block Russell St., Saturday, July 31, 11:50 a.m.: Two men argued over a fender bender and one sprayed the other with an unknown substance and fled.

John Moore

John Moore, age 48, is wanted in connection with several assaults and robberies of elderly women in th Southeastern District, including (most recently) a woman who was feeding stray cats. He is described as a white male with dark hair, about 6’4” and weighing 230 pounds. He is driving a red older model pickup truck with a cap and has a last known address in Dundalk. He previously lived in New Jersey and is believed to have moved back to Baltimore. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Dwayne Goodwin, age 18, in connection with a series of armed robberies in the area. He is considered to be armed and dangerous, and may be working with an accomplice. Goodwin is African American, standing 6’ tall and weighing 195 pounds.

Female suspect : This female suspect is wanted by police in connection with a theft. She is a black female and is seen in these two surveillance camera photos, one taken at a McDonald’s drive-through, and one at a Giant Food store. She used her victim’s stolen credit card at both locations.

Eastern Avenue, 3600 block, July 22, 10:26 a.m. A suspect (see surveillance camera photo left) wearing a red floppy hat with ‘NYC” in white letters entered a store and in a Mexican accent, asked for Mexican soccer shirts. he then asked an employee for permission to use the store bathroom. When the employee left the counter, the suspect grabbed her and demanded money, implying that he was armed with a knife. He forced her to the back of the store and sexually assaulted her, then fled with an unknown amount of money.

200 block Warren Ave., Sunday, July 18, 1:45 a.m.: Two men, one with a handgun and the other with a shotgun, held two men up and escaped in a black car with two wallets, credit cards and $241 cash.

1900 block Wilkens Ave., Sunday, July 25, 4:45 a.m.: A man saw another man being assaulted and called 911 on his cell phone. The suspects, seeing the witness making the call, assaulted him as well, taking $14 cash and his cell phone. Police arrived promptly and arrested four suspects.

WANTED-Detectives in the Southeastern District of the Baltimore Police Department are seeking Dwayne Goodwin (shown left), age 18, in connection with a series of armed robberies in the area. He is considered to be armed and dangerous, and may be working with an accomplice. Goodwin is African American, standing 6’ tall and weighing 195 pounds. Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach or detain him, but instead to contact Det. Pegues at 410-396-2429.

Fayette Street, 3300 block, July 24, 1:45 a.m. A man told police that he was sitting at a bus stop when a second man sat down next to him and said, “Give me your watch.” The first man haånded over the property and the suspect fled. The man got on his bus and went home, trying unsuccessfully to call police. He went to sleep, woke up later and reported the crime.

S. Lakewood Avenue, 800 block, July 23, 12:52 a.m. A woman told police that she was out walking with her boyfriend when two men pointed a handgun at her face and said, “Don’t move; give it up,” and robbed her of her purse and phone, as well as her keys.

E. Pratt Street, 1700 block, July 17, 6:20 p.m. Two men got into an argument and one hit the other in the face with a bottle of King Cobra, causing lacerations. The man could not speak to officers because he was drunk.

S. Central Avenue, 400 block, July 17, 5 p.m. A driver of the Charm City Circulator man told police that he stopped the vehicle, which awoke a man who was asleep there. The man took a can of pepper spray and sprayed the driver in the face, then fled.
