Councilman Kraft’s Forum with BGE: The forum will address recent power outages and solutions for improving reliability and provide an overview of future infrastructure plans, service offerings, and answer any other BGE-related questions. The first hour of the meeting, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., will address customers affected by last month’s extended outages in Butcher’s Hill, Upper Fells Point, and Canton. At 7:30 p.m., the meeting will be open to all customers in the first district. Canton COP Walk: The next Canton COP Walk is set for Monday, August 26  at 7 p.m. The meeting location is at Canton Ace Hardware, 1022 Binney St.

All in the Timing: The Fell’s Point Corner Theater’s “All in the Timing” is directed by Anne Shoemaker, who directed last summer’s “Following Sarah,” by Rich Espey, first place winner in the XXXI Season Baltimore Playwrights Festival. Art Cart Workshops: Construct an art cart for the All Ages Art Cart Derby on September 21. Workshops will be held: Aug. 24 and Sept. 7, noon-3 p.m. Bring your design, and Communities for All Ages will provide the lumber with a $25 Loading Dock credit for additional materials. This is a Communities for All Ages program of the Creative Alliance, the Southeast CDC, and Banner Neighborhoods, funded by Baltimore Community Foundation. Archdiocese Hosts Tour: The parishes of the Harbor East Cluster are hosting  a tour of their churches titled “Our House is Your House – Getting to Know You, Get to Know Us.”  All churches are located in the vicinity of Fells Point, Canton,  Highlandtown, and Little Italy. The tour takes place on September 14, 9 a.m. There will a 45-minute presentation at each church, which will include its history, mission, and heritage.
