Robbery

Orleans St., 2700 block, Aug. 4, 4:08 a.m. A woman told police that she heard a voice behind her say, “B–h, give me your money; I have a gun.” She turned and observed the male suspect, who pushed her to the ground, took her red bag and property, and fled.

N. Wolfe St., unit block, Aug. 4, 5:50 a.m. A woman said she was walking to work when a male suspect approached from the rear. She doesn’t remember if he said anything, but she gave him her purse. He then asked for her cell phone. She screamed “I don’t have one!” and ran and located a Johns Hopkins security guard, who called the police.

S. Clinton St., 1200 block, Aug. 4, 8 a.m. A woman said that while she was walking, she saw a suspect walking behind her. The male suspect grabbed her from behind, placed his hand over her mouth, and pulled her to the ground. She screamed for help, and several witnesses observed the incident and gave chase. The suspect fled with the victim’s property and got away.

E. Fayette St., 3200 block, Aug. 4, 10:35 a.m. A woman reported that a man approached her in the grocery store parking lot and pushed her into her driver’s side door. He told her to give him money. He made her sit in the car as he took money from her purse, and told her not to scream or he would hit her son. He fled with her property.

E. Fayette St., 2400 block, Aug. 4, 9:18 p.m. A man said that he was walking when he saw the three male suspects standing on the corner. As the victim crossed the street, one of the suspects punched him in the side of the face. The other two also began assaulting him. As he fought back, he dropped his cell phone on the ground. One of the suspects picked it up, and all the suspects fled, taking the cell phone, when a woman screamed at them to stop.

S. Chester St., 200 block, Aug. 6, 12:30 a.m. The victim said he was walking home when two suspects approached. The first suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded his property, while simultaneously trying to cover his face. The victim said that he had only two dollars, which the suspect took. The second suspect then took the victim’s cell phone from his pocket.

S. Bethel St., 400 block, Aug. 6, 5 p.m. The victim said that while she was playing outside with her PC tablet, a teen ran up and pushed her to the ground and took it. Her father chased him, and he dropped it, but got away.

Thames St., 1600 block, Aug. 7, 4:15 a.m. A man told police he was stocking the shelves of the convenience store when three suspects entered. Two of them started a fight with him; one pulled out a knife. The security officer came inside and was also assaulted. The other employees ran to the back of the store. The suspect destroyed the front window of the store, an action observed by responding officers, who arrested one of the suspects. The report ends here.

E. Fairmount St., 2700 block, Aug. 8, 1:01 a.m. The victim reported that he drove his Jeep Cherokee into the rear alley and left it with the engine running. He was opening the gate to his yard when the suspects approached. One of the three males pointed a gun at him and told him to empty his pockets. The victim complied. The report ends here.

S. Collington Ave., unit block, Aug. 8, 5:55 p.m. A woman reported that two suspects approached, a man and a woman. The man grabbed her purse, and during the struggle, he warned the victim to let go or he would kill her. She let go. During a search of the area, the suspects were located and the man was arrested.

S. Washington St., 200 block, Aug. 9, 5:35 p.m. Two women said they were waiting at the bus stop when two young men approached and demanded their property. When the women refused, the men threatened to hurt them with screwdrivers. The women complied; the suspects fled.

Aggravated Assault

E. Lombard St., 3900 block, Aug. 4., 3 a.m. Officers were flagged down in reference to a stabbing. During initial contact with the witness, the suspect was pointed out and caught after a brief foot chase. He was covered in blood and during a search incident to arrest, marijuana was recovered. The victim was found, bleeding heavily from stab wounds to the arm and torso. The victim said that the two work for a staffing company, and the suspect told him, “You owe me and we are going to fight,” in Spanish. During the fight, the victim was stabbed multiple times. He was taken to Bayview. The suspect was arrested.

E. Baltimore St., 3200 block, Aug. 4, 4:16 a.m. The victim stated that the suspect, a woman, hit him in the head with a two-by-four when a prostitution deal went bad.

E. Baltimore St., 2900 block, Aug. 4, 12:30 p.m. A woman said that she was jogging and stopped to fix her shoe. She was hit by a tree branch. She turned around and observed the suspects laughing at her. She finished her jog and called the police.

Ballou Ct., 200 block, Aug. 4, 8:30 p.m. The victims, a man and woman, were at a reunion cookout and were cleaning up when the suspect, for no apparent reason, threw bleach on them, hitting them in the eyes and faces. A warrant was issued.

Ballou Ct., 300 block, Aug. 5, 3:33 a.m. Officers responded to the location and found two men suffering from gun shot wounds. They were both taken to the hospital for treatment.

N. Kresson St., unit block, Aug. 5, 2:25 p.m. A man told police that during an argument, his girlfriend picked up a knife, but never made a threatening move. She dropped the knife, police were called, and she was arrested.

S. Eaton St., 300 block, Aug. 6, 9:41 p.m. Three boys got into an argument with another boy, who left and then returned with a gun. He said, “Say another word and I’ll blow your head off,” put the gun in his waist band, and left. The investigation continues.

N. Washington St., 100 block, Aug. 7, 11:20 a.m. A man told police that he was walking to a doctor’s appointment when he heard someone yell to get his attention. He turned and saw a gun pointed at him, and heard it discharge. The car with the suspect inside sped off. The victim believes that the gun was a pellet gun.

S. Kresson St., unit block, Aug. 7, 12:45 p.m. A man told police that he got into an argument with his step son over him wearing his shoes. The step son pulled out a knife and tried to stab the victim, who was cut in the hand when he tried to grab the knife. The suspect fled.

S. Exeter St., unit block, Aug. 7, 10:39 p.m. The victim asked the suspect to leave, and the suspect got angry and brandished a large kitchen knife. The victim called police; the suspect was arrested.

S. Ann St., 600 block, Aug. 7, 11:06 p.m. A woman told police that during an argument with her husband, he placed a belt around her neck and tried to choke her. He fled; a warrant was obtained.

Bethel Ct., 200 block, Aug. 9, 2:40 a.m. A woman said she was sleeping in bed with her current boyfriend when she woke up to see her ex-boyfriend standing over her. He threatened to kill them both. A warrant was obtained.

Quinton St., 400 block, Aug. 9, 8:40 a.m. A man said that while driving, he stopped at a light. The suspect approached and started yelling at him for blocking the walkway. The victim told police he was scared, so he pulled out a knife, and the suspect pulled out a box cutter knife and lunged at him twice. Both men fled.

Jefferson St., 2700 block, Aug. 9, 6:24 p.m. A man said that during an altercation in the street with an unknown suspect, the suspect started shooting at him, and hit him in the right heel. The victim was transported to the hospital.

Jefferson St., 2700 block, Aug. 9, 6:24 p.m. The victim said that during a street altercation he was stabbed in the back. He was taken to the hospital.
