OWINGS MILLS — Cornerback Domonique Foxworth was placed on Injured Reserve with a lingering knee injury on Wednesday.

Foxworth tore his ACL during training camp in 2010 and missed all of last season. With the NFL lockout preventing him from receiving treatment and rehabilitation from the Ravens’ training staff, Foxworth’s knee never properly healed. By being placed on IR, he will miss the remainder of the season.

Coach John Harbaugh said the injury was getting worse with Foxworth playing on it. He was inactive against St. Louis.
