Baltimore City Recreation and Parks and the Natural History Society of Maryland are looking for people interested in discovering more about nature in their neighborhoods and parks to participate in their Neighborhood Naturalist program. Those interested should contact representatives of the program by January 15 if interested.

Contact Charlie Davis, (410-882-5376, nhsm@verizon.net), Fran Spero (fspero@baltimorecity.gov, 410-396-7012) or Molly Gallant (Molly.Gallant@baltimorecity.gov, 443-984-4058) for more info.

Participants in the network will learn about specific animals and plants in their neighborhood and nearby park, as well as meet with other members of the network to learn animal and plant identification skills and compare nature observations among neighborhoods. Participants will be encouraged to share their discoveries with children, young adults, and other neighbors.
