The Maryland Transportation Authority Police want to speak with anyone with information about a hit and run collision involving a worker in a construction zone on I-95. The incident occurred on southbound I-95 in the area prior to Exit 50 (Caton Avenue) this morning at approximately 12:15 a.m.
The MDTA police are seeking information on a possible suspect vehicle, a silver or gold colored GM sedan that may be a Pontiac Grand Prix with damage to the right side headlamp assembly.
Based on initial investigation, the worker who is currently in stable condition was installing pavement markings in a closed lane when he was struck.
