Homicide
Cherry Hill Road, 600 block, August 9, 10:25 p.m. Police responded to the Cherry Hill Shopping Center for the report of a shooting. They found Charles Gregory Pratt, age 18, lying on the ground. Pratt was transported to the University of Maryland ShockTrauma Center, but was pronounced dead at 11:02 p.m.
At the time of his death, Pratt was a resident of the Randallstown area in Baltimore County. According to the Baltimore Police Department’s public information office, he had previous criminal record.

100 block S. Stockton St., Saturday, Aug. 8, 8 p.m.: A man was struck by a woman on a scooter during an argument.
100 block S. Stockton St., Saturday, Aug. 8, 8 p.m.: A woman was struck with a cane during an argument.
100 block S. Carrollton Ave., Sunday, Aug. 9, 5 p.m.: A man was punched in the face during an argument.
1900 block Wilkens Ave., Sunday, Aug. 9, 8 p.m.: A woman was cut on the left side of her face during an argument.
1500 block Byrd St., Sunday, Aug. 9, 7 p.m.: Someone tried to con money from a woman.
300 block S. Norris St., Monday, Aug. 3, 6:50 p.m.: A woman pulled a pillow case over an elderly man’s head and then removed $3 cash from his pockets and fled.
200 block S. Parrish St., Friday, Aug. 7, 5:54 p.m.: A woman was pushed against a fence by a man who stole a Motorola cell phone that had been hanging from her belt.
200 block W. Ostend St., Saturday, Aug. 8, 11:10 p.m.: Three women were robbed at gunpoint of their purses, credit cards, cell phones, keys and other valuables.
Arson
100 block S. Fulton Ave., Monday, Aug. 3, 2:28 p.m.: Someone tried to set a house on fire by lighting off the trash and debris in the basement.
Burglary
1100 block William St., Monday, Aug. 3, 9:30 a.m.: Someone got into a house through an unlocked window and stole two Dell laptop computers, a Philips DVD player and 100 various DVDs.
400 block E. Clement St., Tuesday, Aug. 4, 12:10 a.m.: A suspect was caught trying to enter a house through a window and fled the scene.
1200 block Battery Ave., Thursday, Aug. 6, 9 p.m.: Someone stole a Klein mountain bike from an unlocked garage.
1500 block Stack St., Friday, Aug. 7, 8:45 a.m.: Someone took the garage door opener from an unlocked car and then opened th garage and stole tools. The thief kept the garage door opener as well.
1200 block Cooksie St., Saturday, Aug. 8, 1:30 a.m.: Someone got into a house through an open window and stole a 46-inch Samsung LCD television, a laptop computer and an iPod nano.
1300 block Race St., Sunday, Aug. 9, 7:50 a.m.: A man was seen trying to jimmy a shed door, and was chased down and arrested.
1900 block Wilkens Ave., Sunday, Aug. 9, 4 p.m.: Someone broke the rear window of a house and stole a 25-inch RCA television set.
Stolen auto
1100 block Sargeant St., Thursday, Aug. 6, 8 p.m.: Someone stole a black 2000 Mercedes with Maryland tags 5BXX10.
Larceny
1200 block Light St., Monday, Aug. 3, 9:27 a.m.: A man stole a DeWalt cordless drill, stuffed it under his shirt and ran from a store.
1300 block S. Hanover St., Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1 a.m.: Someone broke a window of a parked van and stole tools.
1800 block Dover St., Tuesday, Aug. 4, 8:30 a.m.: Someone stole the rear tag 8FB510 from a parked car.
600 block E. Clement St., Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1 a.m.: Someone stole a mountain bike from a rear yard.
1400 block Hollins St., Wednesday, Aug. 5, 8 p.m.: Someone stole a camera, GPS, CDs and tools from a parked car.
1400 block Reynolds St., Thursday, Aug. 6, 5:45 p.m.: Someone cut a plastic window of a parked convertible and stole a GPS.
Unit block E. West St., Thursday, Aug. 6, 10 p.m.: Someone stole a wreath from a door.
1700 block S. Hanover St., Friday, Aug. 7, 6 p.m.: Someone stole a Kona Lanai mountain bike that had been left unlocked in a rear yard.
1100 block Key Hwy., Friday, Aug. 7, noon: Someone broke a window of a parked car and stole a GPS.
1100 block S. Hanover St., Friday, Aug. 7, 9:30 p.m.: Someone stole a GPS and a red nylon bag containing soccer tickets from a parked car.
2000 block Wilkens Ave., Sunday, Aug. 9, noon: Someone stole an X-Box and games from a house.
