Sexual Assault and Robbery Suspect

Eastern Avenue, 3600 block, July 22, 10:26 a.m. A suspect (see surveillance camera photo left) wearing a red floppy hat with ‘NYC” in white letters entered a store and in a Mexican accent, asked for Mexican soccer shirts. he then asked an employee for permission to use the store bathroom. When the employee left the counter, the suspect grabbed her and demanded money, implying that he was armed with a knife. He forced her to the back of the store and sexually assaulted her, then fled with an unknown amount of money.

200 block Warren Ave., Sunday, July 18, 1:45 a.m.: Two men, one with a handgun and the other with a shotgun, held two men up and escaped in a black car with two wallets, credit cards and $241 cash.

1900 block Wilkens Ave., Sunday, July 25, 4:45 a.m.: A man saw another man being assaulted and called 911 on his cell phone. The suspects, seeing the witness making the call, assaulted him as well, taking $14 cash and his cell phone. Police arrived promptly and arrested four suspects.

Aggravated assault

100 block S. Schroeder St., Sunday, July 18, 8 p.m.: A woman and her son argued, and he pulled a closet door off its tracks and threw it at her. He was arrested.

100 block Poppleton St., Tuesday, July 20, 12:01 a.m.: A man and woman argued and the man grabbed her in a choke hold, hit her over the head with a bat and punched her in the head. A warrant is out for his arrest.

1100 block Hollins St., Tuesday, July 20, 8:57 a.m.: A man was shot in the shoulder.

1900 block Lemmon St., Tuesday, July 20, 11:56 a.m.: Two brothers argued over a bottle of lotion, and started a fistfight which ended when one stabbed the other in the arm and leg. The victim was taken to Shock-Trauma.

100 block W. Hamburg St., Thursday, July 22, 12:30 p.m.: A couple argued, and the man hit the woman in the head with a radio and punched her in the face. A warrant is out for his arrest.

1100 block Washington Blvd., Thursday, July 22, 6:30 a.m.: A man was outside a bar smoking a cigarette when a silver Monte Carlo pulled up and the passenger shot the man in the hand with a pellet gun.

Burglary

1700 block S. Hanover St., Sunday, July 18, 10:30 p.m.: Someone walked into a house through the unlocked front door and stole a Dell laptop.

1500 block Clarkson St., Sunday, July 18, 10:30 p.m.: Someone broke the lock off a shed and stole a patio umbrella and two bicycles.

1000 block Hollins St., Tuesday, July 20, 11 a.m.: Someone broke into a house under rehab and stole three five-gallon buckets of paint and four boxes of tile.

Stolen auto

400 block E. Randall St., Wednesday, July 21, 11 p.m.: Someone stole a 2005 Honda CVR1000 motorcycle.

1400 block William St., Thursday, July 22, 3 p.m.: Someone stole a 2006 Primo Pitbull scooter from a backyard.

500 block Light St., Friday, July 23, 3:45 p.m.: Someone stole a Cadillac CTS from a parking garage.

Larceny

1400 block Riverside Ave., Sunday, July 18, 10:30 a.m.: Someone stole a light blue Specialized hybrid women’s bike from a side yard.

1700 block Belt St., Monday, July 19, 2:45 a.m.: Someone stole a silver-and-black Trek bicycle, a Ryobi chainsaw and two flowerpots.

Unit block E. Randall St., Monday, July 19, 7:30 p.m.: Someone broke the driver’s window of a parked car and stole a GPS.

1600 block Patapsco St., Tuesday, July 20, 7 p.m.: Someone broke the passenger window of a parked car and stole a GPS and Oakley sunglasses.

1500 block Woodall St., Wednesday, July 21, 2:30 p.m.: Someone stole half a ton of sheet metal from a construction company.

800 block Washington Blvd., Wednesday, July 21, 7 p.m.: Someone broke into a house through a second-floor side window and stole $900 cash and a Ruger 9 mm handgun.

700 block Washington Blvd., Thursday, July 22, 2:30 p.m.: Someone stole a Denver Boot that was attached to a parked car. The City of Baltimore uses Denver boots to immobilize cars that have many outstanding parking citations.
