Thursday, Sept. 11, Exercise at 9 a.m. for one mile video walk; two mile video walk follows; no aerobics today; lunch is 11:30 a.m. and the 12:30 p.m. movie is “Tuskeegee Airmen” starring Laurence Fishbourne.
Friday, Sept. 12, Bingo starts at 12:30 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 15, Exercise at 9 a.m., cards at 10:30 a.m., Red Hatters at 11 a.m. and lunch at Jads Caddy Shack; eating together lunch at the center is 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 16, Hispanic ethnic lunch is served at 11:30 a.m., yoga begins at 4:45 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 17, Eating together begins at 11:30 a.m. and art class is at 1 p.m.
Hatton’s screen painting class, taught by Tom Lipka, is set for Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and there are a few vacancies. Call or stop by for details. Seating is limited so it’s first come, first served.
There are a few seats remaining on our Ocean City trip on Sept. 18. The bus leaves at 8 a.m. and returns at 8 p.m. Cost is $36/members and 39/non-members. This trip coincides with SunFest and you’re on your own for the day.

The John Booth Senior Center has a host of programs — aerobics, line dancing, Easy Cardio Moves, Balance and Movement, singing, cards, billiards, Pokeno and bingo, to name a few. Just want to sit and relax? That’s okay, too.
Note: Health and Welfare Thursdays take place on the second Thursday of each month and consist of Blood Pressure Monitoring at 10 a.m. Dr. Youngworth, Podiatrist, comes to the center from 10:30 a.m.-noon.
Wednesday, Sept. 10, 8:45 a.m.-3 p.m., Center bus trip to Friendly Farms and bingo. We play bingo when we get to Friendly Farms. At noon, we will sit down for a great luncheon of all-you-can-eat chicken and vegetables and a crab cake (you can take home the leftovers if you’ve eaten too much). Then there will be a chance to visit the gift shop and stroll the grounds before we leave for home. Cost: $40 members.
Thursday, Sept. 11, Health and Welfare Day, blood pressure screening at 10 a.m. and podiatrist from 10:30 a.m.-noon.
Monday, Sept. 15, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Delaware Park Trip, $25 for members, has $30 return to use in the machines. Reservations must be made in advance.
Wednesday, Sept. 17, Las Vegas Day at the center, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., $5/members includes hot dog, etc. lunch, chips to begin play. Additional chips can be purchased. Prizes include gifts from local merchants.
Wednesday, Sept. 24, Senior Division to Fisherman’s.
Friday, Sept. 26, 10:30 a.m.-noon, M.T.A. cards. Pictures will be taken and cards will be mailed.
Monday, Sept. 29, entertainers to Canton.
