Thursday, Jan 21: video walk at 9 a.m., Wii play follows, then aerobics at 10:30, lunch at 11:30, computer class at noon and ta’i chi at 12:30 p.m..
Friday, Jan 22: art class at 10 a.m. and bingo at 12:30 p.m.
Monday, Jan 25: video exercise at 9 a.m., massage at 10 and cards at 10:30.
Tuesday, Jan 26: Wii play at 9 a.m., eating together at 11:30. The house council meets at 12:30 p.m. and Yoga classes are from 5-7:45 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan 27: lunch at 11:30 a.m., blood pressure checks at 12:15 p.m., general information meeting at 1 with a guest speaker from Bravo Health at 1:30 and from BGE at 2.
Are you ready for some fried oysters or turkey and trimmings? We’re headed to Lewistown on Saturday Feb. 13, so stop by to make a reservation. The bus leaves at 10 a.m. and returns at 4 p.m.
Membership dues are due now.
If you have diabetes or have a family member who does, sign up for a diabetes workshop to be held Mondays: February 1, 8, 22 and March 1 from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Word from AARP tells us that this year taxes will be filed electronically. The paper copy you receive will be for your files only. Call the Hatton Center now at 410-396-9025 to make your appointment.
Upcoming events include ice cream on Feb. 17, a St. Patrick’s party on March 17 and a trip to the mall on March 26.
The Commission on Aging will sponsor a Caregiver Conference on Friday, Feb. 19 at the American Brewery Building, 1701 N. Gay Street, from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., breakfast and lunch included. The topic is Caregivers: Get Healthy, Stay Healthy. Call Erin Collick at 410-396-1337 to register.
