Help with your census form  is available at John Booth on Mondays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and on Thursdays from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. Have questions? Stop by.

Wednesday, June 16, Members meeting at 1 p.m. Fathers’ Day root beer floats are 50 cents each at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday, June 23: There’s a Golden Express Mystery Trip so join us for a fun day running from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Cost is $40 members, $43 non-members which includes transportation, driver tip and lunch. We will be making three or four stops and limited walking is involved. Sign up and pay in advance.

Farmers Market coupons will be distributed to seniors (ages 60+) beginning on June 16, 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Continues on weekday mornings from 9:30-11:30 until all tickets are gone. One set of coupons per person, first come, first served basis. Proof of city residence and eligibility required including QMB (gray card), SLMB (card/letter), PAC (MD DHMH membership card, SSI (letter of eligibility), Letter of Eligibility Extra Help with Medicare D), Medicaid, Senior Employment Program exemption letter, Proof of employment with Foster Grandparent Program, MEAP (Md. Energy Assistance) and EUSP (Electrical Universal Service Program) Acceptance letter and/or latest home heating or Electric Bill showing assistance or Food Supplement Program (SNAP-formally Food Stamp Program) card.

Wednesday, June 16: Annual Mystery Trip. Bus leaves at 8 a.m. and returns at 7 p.m.

Thursday, June 17: video walk at 9:30 a.m., aerobics at 10:30, lunch at 11:30 and Ta’i Chi at 12:30 p.m.

Friday, June 18: art class at 10 a.m.; bingo at 12:30 p.m.

Monday, June 21: exercise at 9 a.m., cards at 10:30; the Red Hatters meet at 11 a.m. Eating Together is at 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday, June 22: Wii at 9 a.m., Eating Together at 11:30 a.m., House Council at 12:30 p.m. and Yoga classes are from 5-7:45 p.m.

Wednesday, June 23: lunch is at 11:30 a.m.; blood pressure checks at 12:15 p.m.; general information meeting at 1, a guest speaker from CARE discussing Medicare fraud at 1:30; and Delegate Pete Hammen speaking at 2 to recap general assembly happenings.

The Hatton Book Club will recess for July and August and resume meeting on September 1 at 12:30 p.m. Mark your calendar.

We have added a new trip and will be going to Mountain Gate on Wed. July 21, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. for lunch and bingo. There’s also a stop at the jelly factory. The cost is $31. Seats are filling up so make your reservation now.
