Raffle for Allen Center: The Allen Center is raffling off two tickets to the sold-out Patti LaBelle concert, to be performed at Strathmore Music Center on Saturday, Feb. 5. The winning ticket will be pulled New Year’s Eve and the winner gets two tickets, plus limo service. $5 per ticket. Info: The Allen Center, 1404 S. Charles Street, 410-685-6224.

Monday, Dec. 27, Center closed for city-wide furlough day. Wednesday, Dec. 29, New Year’s week bingo, begins 12:15 p.m., $2 for 6 cards. Be sure to sign up for Eating Together in Baltimore lunch by Dec. 22.
Thursday, Dec. 30, New Year’s Eve party at the center with music by the Charm City Band. Lunch served 11:30 a.m. Be sure to sign up for Eating Together in Baltimore by Dec. 22. Cost: $5 members; $8 non-members includes lunch, music, noon toast with ginger ale and door prizes. Sign up now for 2011 center dues. Dues of $15 for the year entitle participants to enjoy some center programs for free and discounts on some of the center’s trips, activities and parties.
The John Booth Center serves Eating Together in Baltimore lunches Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. You must be 60+ and be on the Eating Together List to be eligible for these lunches. Reservations required three days in advance

Wednesday Dec. 15: Lunch is at 11:30 at the center followed by the movie “The Great Train Robbery” starring Sean Connery and Donald Sutherland.
Thursday Dec. 16: exercise at 9:30 a.m., aerobics at 10:30, lunch at 11:30, and computer class at noon.
Friday Dec. 17: art class at 10 a.m., bus to Wal-Mart at 10:15 and bingo at 12:30 p.m.
Monday Dec. 20: Medicare Part D assistance 8:45 a.m.–3 p.m. (by appointment); exercise at 9 a.m., cards at 10:30, Red Hatters meet at 11 a.m., and eating together at the center is at 11:30.
Tuesday Dec. 21: Wii at 9 a.m., eating together at 11:30; yoga classes are on hiatus until January 4.
Wednesday Dec. 22: lunch is at 11:30 a.m. Afterwards we will reminisce about Christmases past.
Thursday Dec. 23: eating together at 11:30 a.m. and computer class at noon. It is time to sign up for computer classes that begin in January. Call for details and to register.
The center will be closed on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and on the mandatory city furlough day, Monday, Dec. 27.
Tuesday, Dec. 28: Wii at 9 a.m., eating together at 11:30.
Wednesday, Dec. 29: play assorted Wii or table games from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; lunch at 11:30.
Thursday December 30: lunch at 11:30. This is the last day to be eligible for the Director’s Early Bird Special. Stop by to pay your annual dues.
