The Allen Center is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The following are regularly scheduled activities on most days (exceptions are noted below):

June 12: No regularly scheduled activities; we will attend a presentation at the Pratt Library downtown, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch will be served.
June 19, 26: 10 a.m., chair exercise with staff; 12:45 p.m., Po-Ke-No, bring your pennies.
Blood pressure screenings will be offered June 26 at 11:30 a.m.
June 6: Trip to Fells Point aboard the Water Taxi, with lunch at Jimmy’s. Cost TBA.
June 13: Spaghetti and bingo. Doors open at 10 a.m. Cost is $15; RSVP by June 4.
June 20: Putt-putt golf, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost TBA.
June 27: Space is still available for our trip to Sights and Sounds for “Jonah.” Cost is $134; call 410-685-6224 to sign up.

Wednesday, May 23, Sunshine Luncheon.  Join us as we celebrate our members  85+ years of age. Luncheon cost:  $3 for 85+ members, $6 all other members and guests of members, $9.00 non-center members.  Make reservations by May 14.
Monday, May 28, Center closed for Memorial Day
Wednesday, May 30, Make spring craft, 12:30 p.m.  Cost: $1  to members.
Eating Together in Baltimore Lunch is served daily at 11:30 a.m. to Eating Together Members.  Suggested donation is $1.25.  Must sign up 3 days before date wanted.
Bingo is played every Friday beginning at 12:15 p.m.  Call the center for more information.
Wednesday, June 6: “Here Comes the Bride” party, 11:30 a.m.- 2  p.m.  Enjoy our “Reception”.  Bring in pictures of your or your children’s wedding. Prizes will be awarded.  Cost:  $4 (members) $7 (non-members) includes lunch, snacks and fun.  Sign up by June 1.
Friday, June 8, Blood pressure check by a nurse from Hopkins Bayview 10 a.m.
Wednesday, June 13, Free Subway lunch for those who attend our spine health and care presentation. Must sign up by June 5.
Thursday, June 14, Podiatrist, 10:30 a.m.-noon.
Senior Division Trip to Toby’s Baltimore to see “Hairspray.” Sign up soon.  Limited number of seats available.  Call the center for more information.
Wednesday, June 20: SHIP Program (Senior Health Insurance Program). Come to an informational session at  12:15 p.m.
Members meeting at 1 p.m.
Wednesday, June 27: Hot Dog Picnic. Hot diggity dog, let’s eat some hot dogs. Cost:  $3 (members) $6 (non-members). Includes two hot dogs on rolls, baked beans, potato chips and soda.  Fun and trivia, too.  Sign up by June 21.
Thursday, June 28: Senior Division trip to Red Roost for crabs. Sign up soon.  Limited number of seats available. Call the center for more information.
Monday, July 4: Center closed for the Independence Day holiday.
Tuesday, July 5: Distribution of Farmer’s Market Coupons.  9:30-11:30 a.m.  and 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. or until coupons are gone. No coupons will be distributed between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. New forms will be used and rules of eligibility must be followed.

The Hatton Center will hold its monthly information meeting Wednesday, May 23, at 12:15 p.m. Congressman John Sarbanes will speak at 1:30.
Before the meeting we will offer lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by blood pressure checks.
Wednesday, June 6: The Book Club will discuss “The Madonnas of Leningrad.”
Wednesday, June 13: Health and Fitness at 10 a.m.; the speaker is from the Arthritis Foundation.
Wednesday, June 27: Information meeting and blood pressure check at 12:15 p.m.
May 24 and 31 and June 7,14,21,28: exercises at 9 a.m., Wii at 9:30, aerobics at 10:30, and lunch at 11:30. Computer class will end for the summer and will start again in the fall.
June 1,8,15, 22, 29: art class at 10 a.m., bus to Wal-Mart at 10; bingo at 12:30 p.m.
May 28: the center will be closed for Memorial Day. June 4,11,18,25: exercise at 9 a.m., card playing at 10:30 and eating together at 11:30. Massage will be given by appointment on June 4 and 18 starting at 10 a.m. Red Hatters will meet June 18 at 11 a.m. Card players wanted— if you want to play call the center for details.
June 5,12,19, 26: Wii at 9 a.m. Water Aerobics has ended for the season. We will start again in August; if interested call the center. Spanish at 1:30 p.m. The House Council meeting will be held June 26.
The Hatton center will be having a screen painting class Saturday, May 26. Call the center to sign up.
