South Crime: Fight goes lights out – One woman arrested for biting, burning another

Robbery
1800 block W. Lombard St., Saturday, April 21, 4 p.m.: A man was arrested for shoving another man to the ground and stealing $20 cash. The victim gave chase until police arrived and arrested the suspect.

Aggravated assault
2000 block W. Pratt St., Tuesday, April 17, 7:45 p.m.: A man stabbed another man in the back. The victim is in stable condition.
1400 block Hollins St., Saturday, April 21, 8 p.m.: A woman bit and burned another woman during a fight. Police arrested the suspect.
400 block S. Carey St., Saturday, April 21, 6:30 p.m.: A five-year-old boy was struck in the mouth by a rock thrown from a bridge.

Burglary
1200 block Sargeant St., Monday, April 16, 7:01 p.m.: Someone broke into a house and stole jewelry and electronic gear.
1500 block McHenry St., Monday, April 16, 11:33 a.m.: Two men were arrested for breaking into a vacant house and stealing a radiator.
900 block S. Carey St., Wednesday, April 18, 6:30 a.m.: Someone broke into a house through the front basement window and stole power tools and hand tools.
1800 block Washington Blvd., Wednesday, April 18, 5 p.m.: Someone broke into a fabric store and stole electronic gear.
100 block S. Parkin St., Wednesday, April 18, 8:40 a.m.: Someone broke into a house but fled before stealing anything.
Unit block S. Carrollton Ave., Thursday, April 19, 2:05 a.m.: Someone broke into a dry cleaner’s and stole cash.
600 block Harvey St., Thursday, April 19, 3:30 p.m.: Someone broke into a house by breaking a side window and stole a MacBook Pro laptop.
900 block S. Carey St., Friday, April 20, 12:52 a.m.: Someone broke into a bar through a rear window and stole a Sharp cash register containing $100 cash.
400 block S. Carey St., Friday, April 20, 12:02 a.m.: Witnesses saw a man try to kick in the front door of the garage at a wrecking yard. He failed and fled.

Stolen auto
Unit block E. Heath St., Monday, April 16, 7:29 p.m.: A male was arrested for stealing a 1981 Honda scooter.
800 block Hollins St., Monday, April 16, 10 a.m.: Someone stole a 1992 Toyota Camry.
1800 block Washington Blvd., Friday, April 20, 6:15 a.m.: A man was arrested for stealing a 1997 Saturn. The car was recovered and returned to its owner.

Larceny
100 block W. West St., Sunday, April 15, 11:15 p.m.: A homeless woman left her backpack unattended, and when she returned it was gone.
1400 block Key Hwy., Monday, April 16, 2:30 a.m.: A man was arrested for stealing drinks from a convenience store.
800 Woodward St., Monday, April 16, 1 p.m.: Someone entered the backyard of a house and stole the air conditioning unit.
1020 W. Pratt St., Monday, April 16, 5 p.m.: Someone broke into a house under renovation and stole a reel of insulated wire.
100 block E. Churchill St., Tuesday, April 17, 7:15 a.m.: Someone stole a table set from the front door of a house.
800 block Battery Ave., Tuesday, April 17, 6 p.m.: Someone broke into a parked car and stole the stereo, an iPod and a pair of sunglasses.
100 block S. Parkin St., Wednesday, April 18, 9 p.m.: Someone broke into a parked car and stole a handicap hang tag with sticker.
Unit block E. Cross St., Thursday, April 19, 11:45 p.m.: Someone stole a PNC Bank card from the back bar counter by the register.
800 block Washington Blvd., Thursday, April 19, 3 p.m.: Someone dismantled and stole scaffolding from the rear of a building.
1800 block Washington Blvd., Friday, April 20, 10:50 a.m.: A man was arrested for taking various foods from a convenience store.
2700 block Port Covington Dr., Saturday, April 21, 4:40 p.m.: A man was arrested for trying to shoplift two black fedora hats, a pair of sunglasses and a burrito.
Stolen from various cars parked in various places: Three GPS, a laptop, sunglasses and an iPhone.

    I’m so glad I got out of Baltimore. Down here in Annapolis I’m protected 24/7 by an army of heavily armed foot soldiers. Man, do I feel safe now !!
