South Crime: Handyman allegedley moves in to client’s property with girlfriend

Robbery
W. Ostend St., 1300 block, July 22, 11 p.m. A man reported that another man beat him with his hands and feet and stole his property. The suspect was later arrested.
Battery Ave., 800 block, July 23, 12:50 a.m. Two men reported that two other men approached them, displayed a handgun, and demanded their property.
Wilkens Ave., 2000 block, July 23, 2 p.m. A woman reported that three suspects, two men and a woman, punched her and took her purse. A warrant was issued.
W. Lombard St., 1700 block, July 24, 11:35 a.m. A woman reported that while walking, her ex-boyfriend pulled up in a car, got out, knocked her down, and took her purse, all because she did not want to be in a relationship with him anymore.
W. Barre St., 1000 block, July 25, 11:50 p.m. A man reported that another man approached him, displayed a gun, demanded his property, took it, and fled.
Wilkens Ave., 1800 block, July 26, 12:29 a.m. A man said that suspects approached him, choked him, and took his cell phones.

Burglary
S. Gilmor St., 200 block, July 22, 1 p.m. A man reported that his handyman and the handyman’s girlfriend moved in to his property illegally. Witnesses saw the handyman attempt to get into a window.
W. Barre St., 800 block, July 22, 3:30 p.m. An unknown suspect forced entry through the dwelling’s rear window and took property.
W. Lombard St., 800 block, July 24, 9 a.m. A man reported that a suspect entered his home through the second floor bathroom window and took a laptop, iPod, and jewelry.
W. Lombard St., 1300 block, July 25, 6:45 a.m. A woman said that she returned home to find her back door ajar and two televisions stolen.
Lemmon St., 1400 block, July 26, 9 a.m. A woman reported that someone broke into her home through the front door but didn’t take anything.
S. Carey St., unit block, July 26, 2:30 p.m. A suspect reportedly gained entry through the basement window, took a gas stove, and fled.
S. Fulton Ave., unit block,July 28, 8:30 a.m. A man reported that someone entered through his bathroom window and stole his video game system and games.

S. Charles St., 500 block, July 23, 9:30 a.m. A man reported that someone took his iPhone from his office desk.
W. Pratt St., 100 block, July 23, 11 a.m. Th driver’s side window was smashed and a handicap placard was stolen.
W. Randall St., 100 block, July 23, 6 p.m. The license tag was stolen from a Suzuki motorcycle.
S. Norris St., 300 block, July 24, 12:01 a.m. A man reported that someone took his dog.
Key Hwy., 1400 block, July 25, 12:05 a.m. A suspect took fuel without paying for it.
Washington Blvd., 700 block, July 25, 1 p.m. A store manager reported that a suspect took four Tide pods from the shelf and left the store.
Andre St., 1400 block, July 25, 4:30 p.m. A man reported that the window to his van was smashed and all tools were stolen.
Pierside Dr., unit block,July 25, 11:30 a.m. A woman reported that her bike, which was secured in a parking garage, was stolen.
Patapsco St., 1300 block, July 26, 1 p.m. A man reported that a suspect gained entry and took a laptop, iPod, key fob, and passport.
Harper St., 1400 block, July 27, 2 a.m. A man reported a spot light and power cutting tool were taken from the cab of his truck.
Port Covington Dr., 2700 block, July 27, 6 p.m. Police arrested a customer who was caught shoplifting. All merchandise was recovered.
Eislen St., 500 block, July 28, 6:15 p.m. A man stopped and held a suspect who was stealing from his vehicle. Police arrived and arrested the suspect.
Port Covington Dr., 2700 block, July 28, 5:30 p.m. A security guard detained someone trying to leave the store without paying for items.
Light St., 700 block, July 28, 12 p.m. A vehicle window was broken and a handicap placard was stolen.
Light St., 400 block, July 28, 3:14 a.m. A man reported that his car was broken into and his GPS was stolen.
W. West St., 100 block, July 28, 2:30 a.m. A man reported that someone broke into his vehicle and took sunglasses.
Patapsco St., 1500 block, July 28, 4:30 p.m. A man reported that cash was taken from his vehicle.
W. Ostend St., 100 block, July 28, 5:30 p.m. A woman reported that her purse and GPS were taken from her vehicle.

W. Pratt St., 1800 block, July 28, 1:15 a.m. A man reported that his scooter was stolen while he played pool in a bar.
