South Crime: Rob and ride; Woman’s phone stolen on Circulator bus

Burglary
1500 block Ramsay St., Sunday, May 20, 7 p.m.: Someone got into a vacant building, then broke into a corner store through the common wall. Once inside they stole cash and cigarettes, together worth $800.
Unit block W. West St. Monday, May 21, 5:30 a.m.: Someone broke into a house and took electronics and a bike.
1400 block S. Hanover St., Tuesday, May 22, 7:15 a.m.: Someone broke into a house through the rear window and stole jewelry and a TV.
700 block Carroll St., Tuesday, Ma y 22, 8:45 a.m.: Someone tried to break into a house through the front door.
1700 block Wilkens Av., Thursday, May 24, 5:50 a.m.: Someone broke into a house and stole a wooden door.
1700 block Lemmon St., Friday, May 25, 7 a.m.: Someone broke into a house through the rear door and stole the storm door.
1000 block S Hanover St., Friday, May 25, 8:45 a.m.: Someone broke into a house and stole a purple mountain bike and a Nikon camera.
1900 block Wilkens Av., Friday, May 25, 10:30 a.m.: Someone broke into a house and stole a Dell laptop, a keyboard, and two computers.
700 Washington Blvd., Friday, May 25, 8 p.m.: Someone gained entry into a house by breaking the window in the front door and stole $80 cash.
700 block Washington Blvd., Saturday, May 26, 3:05 a.m.: Someone gained entry into a different house on the same block by breaking the window to the front door and stole $2 cash.

Aggravated Assault
200 block Harmison St., Wednesday, May 23, 11 p.m.: A man walked out from an alley and cut another man on the forearm with a broken bottle.

Robbery
700 block Light St., Monday, May 21, 9:20 a.m.: A passenger on the Charm City Circulator Bus was using her phone when a man snatched from it from her hand. The two struggled before the man left the bus with the phone.

Larceny
1700 block Cole St., Monday, May 21, 1:23 a.m.: A woman let a man she didn’t know use her cell phone to make a call, and when she handed the phone to him he ran away with it.
1400 block Leadenhall St., Monday, May 21, 9 p.m.: Someone smashed the rear passenger door window of a car, but didn’t steal anything.
1400 block Key Highway, Tuesday, May 22, 6 a.m.: A man ordered a cup of coffee at a sandwich shop, but refused to pay.
600 block Washington Blvd., Tuesday, May 22, 11 p.m.: Someone stole a bicycle from the rear yard of a house.
1000 block S Charles St., Wednesday, May 23, 3:50 p.m.: Someone walked into a store and stole a laptop and a blue Under Armour bag while the owner was taking out the trash.
1000 block Russell St., Wednesday, May 23, 12:58 p.m.: Someone walked into a hardware store and stole a Bosch angle grinder.
2700 block Port Covington Dr., Thursday, May 24, 8:12 p.m.: Store security caught a shoplifter attempting to steal eight cases of baby formula and various women’s clothing from Wal-Mart.
