Port Covington Dr., 2700 block, Aug. 5, 5:30 p.m. A store manager reports that a suspect threatened him with scissors inside the store. The suspect was arrested.
Wilhelm St., 2000 block, Aug. 6, 1:10 a.m. A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend tried to choke her with his hands.
S. Stockton St., unit block, Aug. 8, 3:35 p.m.  A man told police that an unknown man shot him in the shoulder and fled.
W. Henrietta St., unit block, Aug. 9, 1:00 a.m.  Police were told that armed suspects entered the dwelling and told everyone to get on the floor and give them their money and jewelry. They then put everyone in the rear room and fled. While in the rear room, they allegedly pointed their gun at the victims. (See incident under “Robbery”.)

Ropewalk Lane, unit block, Aug. 11, 1:00 a.m.  A man reports that after he left the tavern, unknown suspects jumped, beat, and robbed him of a Burberry wallet, $20, and other items.
Decatur St., 1400 block, Aug. 11, 1:00 p.m.  A woman told police that she had received calls regarding owing ground rent. The caller claimed that the sheriff would come and kick her out of her home. An unknown man later entered her house and assaulted her until she gave up her money.

Burglary
Fort Ave., 700 block, Aug. 6, 1:30 a.m. Police report that suspects broke in via a rear door and stole a mountain bike.
Lemmon St., 1700 block, Aug. 7, 9 a.m. A woman told police that an unknown suspect entered through her front door and exited through the rear.
Gilmor St., 300 block, Aug. 9, 2:30 p.m. Police report that a suspect broke in through a rear door and stole a collection of 15 Marilyn Monroe dolls and jewelry.

Larceny
Ostend St., unit block, Aug. 5, 1:30 p.m.  Police report that a suspect shattered the rear window of a car and took at Garmin GPS.

Mangold St., 800 block, Aug. 7, 1:15 a.m. A resident said someone entered a backyard and stole a patio furniture set with a red umbrella.
Hanover, St., 1500 block, Aug. 7, 3:35 p.m. Someone stole a package of medical instruments from the front steps.
Fulton Ave., unit block, Aug. 8, 10:00 a.m. A suspect entered an unsecured vehicle and took a cell phone.
Marriott St., 1400 block, Aug. 8, 9:00 a.m.  A man reports that someone broke into his vehicle and stole tools.
Emory St., 200 block, Aug. 8, 3:30 a.m. An unknown suspect broke into a vehicle and stole money.
Paca St., 800 block, Aug. 9, 6:20 p.m. Police report that someone forced open a vehicle’s trunk and took a Lenovo laptop, Mac laptop, bank card, and other items.
Kuper Place, 1300 block, Aug. 11, 2:30 p.m. A man allowed another man and his girlfriend to stay at his place for one day with the intention of renting to them. The man left to run some errands. When he returned, a laptop and other items were missing.

Stolen Auto
Scott St., 400 block, Aug. 9, 4:30 p.m. A woman told police that upon returning to where she parked her car, her 2009 Hyundai Elantra was missing.
Penn St., 200 block, Aug. 10, 1:30 p.m. A woman told police that her 2012 Buddy 50-cc red scooter was stolen from where she parked it.
