South Crime: Three catalytic converters taken

Aggravated Assault
S. Fulton St., 300 block, June 11, 3:42 p.m. A man reported that his nephew came into his home and assaulted him. A warrant was issued.
Dover St., 1800 block, June 13, 4:31 p.m. A man told police that another woman was upset about her dating choices, and came to her house and broke the window. The victim also reported that the suspect threw a cigarette at her.
S. Charles St., 1600 block, June 16, 3:25 p.m. A man reported that a man had threatened to hit him with a hammer he had in his possession. The man was arrested.
Harden Ct., 1600 block, June 16, 5:45 p.m. A man said that another man stabbed him in the arm with a kitchen knife. A warrant was issued.
Ramsay St., 1800 block, June 16, 6:40 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend choked her with his hands. He was arrested.

Robbery
S. Hanover St., 800 block, June 10, 12:01 a.m. A woman reported that she was robbed at knife point by three men, who took checks and credit cards.
Washington Blvd., 1200 block, June 11, 11:37 p.m. A man reported that he was beaten by multiple unknown males who then took his scooter.

Burglary
W. Ostend St., 1400 block, June 10, 11 p.m. A man reported that someone tried to enter his house through the rear door.
S. Charles St., 1200 block, June 11, 5:42 a.m. A woman heard someone in her house and called the police. Officers canvassed the area and saw a suspect throw down her property: two sets of keys and a black purse.
S. Charles St., 900 block, June 12, 1:53 a.m. A suspect broke into a business and ran out.

Larceny
Light St., 500 block, June 10, 6 a.m. A man reported that the rear license plate was stolen from his vehicle.
Port Covington Dr., 2700 block, June 10, 3 p.m. A woman was caught shoplifting from a business. The stolen clothing was recovered, and she was arrested.
Durst St., 1100 block, June 10, 4:30 p.m. A woman, who reported that she may have left a door to her vehicle open, said that an unknown person stole her iPod, charger, and other property.
S. Hanover St., 1000 block, June 10, 4:30 p.m. A man said that he forgot to lock his car, and returned to find his GPS, DVD player, and sunglasses missing.
Pierside Dr., unit block, June 10, 8 p.m. A man reported that his bicycle was stolen from a parking garage.
S. Charles St., 1200 block, June 11, 4:30 a.m. A woman reported that her car, which had been parked within her backyard fence, was broken into.
S. Charles St., 1100 block, June 11, 9 a.m. A man reported that a package delivered to his home had been opened, and the contents were stolen.
Henry St., 1400 block, June 11, 5 p.m. A man reported that the catalytic converter had been cut out and removed from his Honda Element.
S. Stricker St., unit block, June 12, 12:01 a.m. A man told police that someone had removed the stickers from his vehicle tag.
E. Wells St., unit block, June 12, 10:30 p.m. A man told police that that his catalytic converter was stolen from his Honda Element.
William St., 1000 block, June 13, 1:44 a.m. A witness reported a man going through a Mercedes, who fled upon the witness’s approach.
Glyndon Ave., 1200 block, June 13, 1 p.m. An elderly woman received a phone call telling her she owed taxes and that she must pay in cash within one hour or lose her home. The woman put $1,035 in an envelope and gave it to an unknown man who showed up 20 minutes later.
Washington Blvd, 1100 block, June 13, 3:45 p.m. A man in the process of moving had some things sitting on his front steps. He reported that an unknown man picked up a laptop bag and continued on his way west on Washington Blvd.
Port Covington Dr., 2700 block, June 14, 6:50 p.m. A shoplifter was detained and identified by a loss prevention officer.
Latrobe Park Tr., 1500 block, June 14, 10:37 p.m. A woman reported parking her car and being approached by a man asking for money. She held out her arms, in which she was carrying two bags of groceries. The man took the groceries.
Ostend St., 700 block, June 14, 11 p.m. A woman reported that someone went through her passenger door window and stole a credit card.
W. Cross St., 700 block, June 15, 1 p.m. A woman reported that her catalytic converter had been taken.
Light St., 400 block, June 15, 7 p.m. A woman reported placing her iPhone in a pocket of her diaper bag. When she looked for her phone later it was gone.
