Southeast Baltimore Crime: Man chases down alleged scooter thief, takes hit with bolt cutters

Aggravated Assault
N. Linwood Ave., 400 block, July 29, 9:10 p.m. A man told police he was in his back yard when a drunk stranger with a knife said: “I should stick you.” The man was not hurt.
Fleet St., 2400 block, Aug. 1, 4:20 p.m.  A man told police that shortly after he parked his scooter, he found a young male trying to dismantle it with bolt cutters. The man chased the alleged thief, who tried to hit him in the face with the bolt cutters. The man was not hurt. The suspect was apprehended by police.
Gough St., 2200 block, Aug. 4, 1:48 p.m. A man told police that two men on the street struck him with a shiny object while he was walking.

Robbery
Gough St., 2000 block, July 29, 12:30 a.m. A man reports that while he was walking down the street a suspect put what the man believed was a gun to his back and said: “Give me your money.” The man had no money. The suspect struck him with the gun and fled.
Portugal St., 1700 block, July 29, 5:20 p.m. A man told police that he agreed to give his ex-girlfriend $15 to perform a sex act. He said that during the act the two men she brought with her attacked him. She assisted by holding down his legs. The man was robbed of $170. The female suspect was later arrested.
S. Linwood Ave., 800 block, July 29, 1 p.m. A man reported that a suspect pointed a pistol to his head and robbed him of $150. The suspect fled to a waiting black vehicle.
International Dr., 200 block, July 29, 11:00 p.m. A woman told police that during an argument with her boyfriend he pushed her to the ground, took her phone and left. When he returned, he was arrested.
Orleans St., 2000 block, July 30. Two victims told police that a man robbed them at gunpoint of $225 and $200.
N. Linwood Ave., July 30, 2:30 p.m. A woman reported that while she was sitting in her car when a male approached with a handgun and took her purse and cell.
1600 Bank St., July 30, 10:44 p.m. A woman reported that a man tried to steal her purse, but couldn’t and walked away.
E. Baltimore St., 2000 block, July 31, 2 p.m. A man reported that he was talking on his cell when two men grabbed him from behind, demanded his money, struck him with a handgun and took his phone.
E. Fayette St., 1400 block, July 31, 6:25 p.m. A clerk told police that a suspect  entered the Exxon and tried to steal candy. The clerk auto-locked the door and the clerk and suspect got into a fist fight. The suspect got the door open and fled.
Broadway, 200 block, Aug. 1, 11:08 p.m. A man told police that while he was walking, four men approached him and began hitting him with a cane. They took objects from his pockets and then fled.
Milton Ave., Aug. 1, 1:50 p.m. A woman told police that two men robbed her after she withdrew money from the ATM at 2600 E. Fayette St. The men had a handgun.
E. Lombard, 3000 block, Aug. 2, 1:30 a.m. A woman was walking home when a man allegedly reached into her pocket and took her phone. He then entered a gold-colored car. She demanded it back. He ran over her foot as he drove away.
S. Eaton St., 200 block, Aug. 3, 12:20 a.m.  A man reports that two suspects struck him in the face and stole his cell phone and cash valued at $825.

Burglary
S. Eaton St., 300 block, July 29, 7:30 p.m. A woman said her ex-boyfriend got drunk and kicked in her rear door. A suspect was arrested.
Eastern Ave., 1300 block, July 29, 5:22 p.m. Police report that someone entered and ransacked Cinco De Mayo Market but stole nothing.
Kenwood Ave., 600 block, July 30, 4:30 p.m. A resident returned home and found the kitchen door open. Two laptops, a 52-inch flat screen, and other property were missing.
S. Clinton St., 900 block, Aug. 1, 6:30 p.m. A woman told police that someone broke into her house using a spare key stored on an electrical box and stole two laptops, a printer, and a game system.
Kenwood Ave., 100 block, Aug. 2, 1:10 a.m. A  woman reported that someone tried to kick in her front door.
E. Baltimore St., 3400 block, Aug. 3, 2:10 p.m. A man said that unknown suspects knocked the door of his apartment off its frame and stole two T.V.s, a game system, and $500 in cash.
Pulaski Highway, 2900 block, Aug. 4, 7:30 p.m. Police report that someone broke into a vacant property and stole copper pipes, an air conditioning unit, pre-fabricated doors, and plywood.
