Southeast Crime: Woman robbed at gunpoint after returning from bike ride

Robbery
Shipview Way, 6200 block, Sept. 23, 3:15 p.m. A man told police he was in the area to buy CDs. He came into contact with the suspects, who asked how many he wanted. The man told the suspects one, at which point one suspect took his money. When the alleged victim tried to leave, a suspect grabbed his scooter, and knocked him off of the scooter while the other suspect took his phone. One suspect implied that he had a gun and said, “I shoot you.”
S. Ellwood Ave., unit block, Sept. 23, 3:30 p.m. A man told police he was returning from Aldi’s with grocery bags, when a suspect approached him from across the street, pushed him to the ground, and stole property from his pockets. The man struck his head on the wall.
N. Highland Ave., 200 block, Sept. 24, 4:10 p.m. A man reports that he had just cashed a check at the liquor store and was walking to his car when a suspect approached him with a gun and said, “Kick it out.” The man told police he gave the suspect $9. The suspect then took the remaining cash from his pocket and fled.
N. Belnord Ave., unit block, Sept. 25, 6:55 p.m. A woman told police that a male suspect approached her as she was opening the trunk of her car. The suspect slammed his body into hers and stole her phone.
S. Potomac St., 100 block, Sept 25, 11:46 p.m. A woman said she was walking when a suspect struck her in the face and took her purse and iPod.
S. Clinton St., 200 block, Sept. 26, 10:30 p.m. A woman told police that she had just returned home from a bike ride and was still straddling the bike when a male suspect approached her, put a gun to her head, and demanded her purse. She was not harmed. The suspect fled.
S. Exeter St., 600 block, Sept. 26, 7:05 p.m. The victim/CVS store manager told police a suspect entered the store and began putting bottles of Aleve in his pockets then headed for the front door. The manager gave chase and grabbed the suspect’s backpack. The suspect was detained until police arrived and arrested him.

Burglary
S. Chester St., 200 block, Sept. 23, 7:30 p.m. A man reported to police that while he was at the Ravens game, someone entered his home and stole a laptop, a bowl of change, and a pack of cigarettes.
Bank St., 2000 block, Sept. 23, 3 p.m. A man came home and put his wallet down while he took a shower. He left his front door and front window unlocked. He told police that someone entered the home and moved the screen. Someone later attempted to use one of his cards at a local market.
Boston St., 2300 block, Sept. 23, 9:30 a.m. A woman told police that someone opened an unsecured garage door and stole four bikes.
Montford Ave., unit block, Sept. 23, 3 p.m. A man told police that someone entered through an unsecured kitchen window and stole an iPad, cell phone, purse, workbag and other items.
Eastern Ave., 2500 block, Sept. 23, 2:30 p.m.  A man reports that he and his roommates left for the weekend, and when they returned they found their apartment ransacked and electronics missing.
N. Conkling St., 200 block, Sept. 23, 8:30 p.m. A woman told police that someone broke in and stole two TVs.
S. Linwood Ave., 100 block, Sept. 24, 11:15 a.m.  Police responded to an alarm call and found that a rear door had been kicked in. It was later discovered that a racing bike was stolen.
East Ave., 200 block, Sept. 24, 11:30 p.m. A man told police that he came home to find his TV stolen. A bedroom window was unlocked.
Bonsal St., 1400 block, Sept. 24, 6:30 p.m. A man told police that someone broke in and stole a TV and a Playstation.
Essex St., 2000 block, Sept. 24, 9:10 a.m.  Aman told police that he was home and heard knocking on his door. He looked outside and saw a middle-aged man unknown to him. A few minutes later, the man heard a rummaging sound upstairs then saw the same man running down the alley. The suspect was found looking into another nearby home. The suspect was identified and arrested.
S. Wolfe St., 600 block, Sept. 24, 8 p.m. A man told police that he was asleep on the second floor and left the front door unlocked for his roommates who were jogging and did not have their keys. When he woke up, his bike was missing from the living room.
N. Belnord Ave., 500 block, Sept. 25, 6 p.m. A man told police that someone broke in through a kitchen window and stole a Playstation, iPod, laptop, and tablet from the living room.
N. Milton Ave., 400 block, Sept. 26, 8 p.m. A woman told police that someone broke in and ransacked her room and stole a TV and coins.
N. Highland Ave., unit block, Sept. 26, 3:30 p.m.  A woman told police that someone took a TV from her room. There was no sign of forced entry.
Noble St., 3000 block, Sept. 27, 9:30 p.m.  A resident told police that someone entered through a rear kitchen window and stole a TV, game system, games, and a bike.
Steelton Ave., 1100 block, Sept. 27, 7:15 p.m.  A man came home and found that his door was damaged and his window was open but no property was taken.
Shipview Way, 6200 block, Sept. 27, 7:50 p.m.  A woman reported that someone pushed in her AC unit and removed a TV, Playstation, and remotes.
Kenwood Ave., 200 block, Sept. 27, 8:00 p.m. A woman reports that someone broke into a vacant property and stole a washer and dryer and tools.
Shipview Way, 6200 block, Sept. 28, 6:45 p.m.  A woman reports that an acquaintance tried to enter her window, but when he saw her he backed out and fled.

Aggravated Assault

N. Bethel St., 200 block, Sept 23, 12:30 a.m. A woman told police that her ex-girlfriend came over and a fight broke out over her being able to stay the night. The suspect cut the victim on her back and under her breast. A warrant was issued for the suspect, who was later arrested.
Gough St., 1700 block, Sept. 23, 8:05 a.m. A man told police that he was drunk standing outside when an unknown man assaulted him with a box cutter. The wound was superficial.
Gusryan St., 300 block, Sept 24, 5:20 p.m. A woman said she had an argument with her husband, who threw a chair and TV at her but missed. There were no injuries.
Clinton St., 400 block, Sept. 24, 9:30 p.m. A woman told police that she and her boyfriend got into an argument over the paternity of her youngest child. She said the boyfriend punched her and beat her with a belt. The suspect was arrested.
McElderry St., 2600 block, Sept. 25, 2:40 p.m. A woman reports that her boyfriend threw a knife sharpener at her, striking her in the forehead, then placed his hands around her neck. He fled and was later arrested by patrol.
Mt. Pleasant St., 3800 block, Sept. 27, 1:30 p.m.  A woman told police that she and her boyfriend got into a fight about breaking up. A fight broke out over a phone, which she wanted back. She tried to leave. He followed her on crutches. She stole one of his crutches; he hit her with the other. The boyfriend fled and was later arrested.
S. Potomac St., 800 block, Sept. 28, 12:30 p.m. A man told police he came to the location in response to a Craigslist ad to buy a vehicle. He told police that the suspect walked up to him and said, “Show me the money.” The victim said he refused to show the money until he saw the vehicle. The suspect told him the vehicle was in a nearby garage. The victim refused to walk with the suspect, who then pulled out a knife. The victim fled. An area canvass was negative.
Graceland Ave., 6000 block, Sept. 29, 1:30 p.m. A man told police he was very drunk and was going to his truck, when he saw three or four males leaning on it. He told them to move and they jumped him. The victim says he sustained an open wound to his chest but does not know how he got it. The suspects fled.
