Wednesday, Sept. 22, Return to Shady Maple. If you were with us on the last Shady Maple bus trip in June, there’s a bargain in store: $15 for the whole trip. If you were not on the June mystery trip, cost is $40 members, $43 non-members.

Tuesday, Sept. 28, Senior Division goes to Roots Flea Market and Country Market. Call for more info.

Wednesday, Sept. 29: “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Enjoy apples in all their forms: brown betty, applesauce, even pizza. $4 members, $6 others. Sign up for separate ETIB, deadline Sept. 22.

Wednesday, Oct. 6: German Fest – Oct. is the month for sour beef and dumplings. Luncheon at John Booth Senior Center served at 12:15 p.m., $7 members, $10 non-members. Reserve by Sept. 30.

Wednesday, Oct. 13: Everybody’s Birthday – Happy birthday to all John Booth members. Lunch served at 12:15 p.m. Cost: $4 members, $7 non-members and guests. Make reservations with payment by Oct. 7.

Thursday, Oct. 14: Senior Division luncheon cruise and bingo. Last chance to purchase tickets is Sept. 30.

Health & Welfare, Blood pressure at 10 .m., podiatrist from 10:30 a.m.-noon.

Wednesday, Oct. 20: Seated Massage with Madhu 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. (donation). Members meeting at 1 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 27: Halloween Party with “The Big Top” theme. The Circus is Coming to John Booth Senior Center. Festivities begin at 10 a.m., lunch at noon. $10 members; $13 non-members.  Make reservations with payment by Oct. 21.  S

Friday, Sept. 17: new Wii games at 9 a.m., art class at 10 a.m., travel meeting at 11:30 a.m. (note time change) and bingo at 12:30 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 20: exercise at 9 a.m., cards at 10:30 a.m., and eating together at 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. Wii, eating together at 11:30 a.m., House Council at 12:30 p.m. and Yoga classes are from 5 p.m.-7:45 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 22: lunch at 11:30 a.m., blood pressure checks at 12:15 p.m., General Information Meeting at 1 p.m., Guest Speaker Benjamin Neal, Esq. discussing deeds and wills and trusts.

Thursday, Sept. 23: Ocean City trip, bus leaves at 8 a.m.and returns at 8 p.m. Lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Activity Notes: There are a few slots left for the Sept. 28 flower arranging class at 12:30 p.m. There is a nominal fee.

Sept. 29: viewer’s choice movie.

The Faith and Life series begins on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m.

Come for a refresher course on Emergency Preparedness in Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m.

The Hatton book club is reading the One Maryland, One Book selection Outcasts United by Warren St. John. Pick up a copy at the library and join us on Oct. 6 at 12:30 p.m.

The Hatton Center will offer free flu shots to adults and children over 6 months on Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m.-noon.

Hatton’s Perryville trip is Nov. 17. Reserve a seat now with a $10 deposit.
