More than a thousand people converged on Patterson Park last Saturday to hunt the elusive Easter egg to near-extinction.
It was the first time in two years that the Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance’s event could be held outdoors; the bright sun kept
the brisk air in check.
“When we started this event six years ago, we were hoping 50 people showed up,” said Heidi Vorrasi, executive director of DBFA. “To see this many families coming from all over the state is truly amazing.”
