A suspect has been arrested in the Sept. 30 shooting at Pratt and Conkling streets that left one dead and one injured, reported Maj. Deron Garrity at Monday evening’s Southeast District Police Community Relations Council meeting.
According to information the Guide received from the Baltimore Police Media Relations Unit in October, officers were called to the 3700 block of E. Pratt St. just after midnight for a report of gunshots heard in the area. As officers responded, they located an adult male who had been shot in the back. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
A second shooting victim was found near the 3700 block and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Monday, Garrity reported that police had arrested and charged Carl Griffin.
